From playing GT4 on PS2, I have learned that Amuses R1 S2000 is a really well-tuned car that I am guessing is designed for time attack and circuit racing. Looking in the suspension settings menu I see the following:
Ride height: F85mm R85mm
Shock absorber firmness: F5 R5
Camber: F-4.0 R-4.5
Additional info would be the curb weight of 1170kg or roughly 2574lb.s and it comes equiped with the softest sport tires. HP is near stock. I use the Logitech Pro wheel and the handling of this car versus a stock AP1 is impressive. The camber setings and ride height are what stand out to me most and they must have a big impact on the cars cornering grip. As I am knew to my S2000, I wondered if the relatively high negative camber settings result in a better handling car on the track? What type of suspension do they use? What size wheels? Who is the guy behind Amuse? Has anyone states side used any of these settings on their S2000?
In some of the "Best Motoring" videos Powerhouse Amuse is showcased on the S2000 (particularly the orange car) and they mention the parts and settings mostly right before a Touge battle begins. You'll have to pause or slow-mo the DVD as the technical parts are displayed on the screen (in English thankfully).
Also, during the Tsukuba battles you can usually see that the cars being tested (usually performance models) all have extreme angles of negative camber on both front and rear wheels. I'm sure this helps turn-in tremendously although your tire life will suffer over time.--I wouldn't recommend this on the street.
As for who has the suspension, you'll have to wait on that one as I don't have this on my car, but this is the right place to find out. Good luck with you questions.
