Amuse R1 vs. J's 60RS
Hi everybody!
I will make an order in 2 weeks and really can't decide which Exhaust System I should go with...
I have to keep my stock converter because of strict regulations here in Europe.
Amuse R1 Titan basic /w resonator:
+ very nice sound, very light, ultimate JDM bling
- expensive, I'm afraid that it will be too loud.... u know police...

J's Racing 60RS:
+ nice sound, quieter than R1, very light, cheaper
- maybe too quiet when running with stock converter, I read about rattle

My personal favourite is the Amuse R1 Titan, but the reason I'm hesitating is that I'm afraid that this exhaust is too loud.
Currently I'm running a HKS Hi-Power and it's very confortable with my ears... and for over 1 1/2 years didn't make any attention over police.
I know that the R1 is louder but I really can't afford getting caught by police and then take an 2200$ exhaust off the car.... to hang it up in my living room, because I wont be allowed to use it anymore....
Anyone with this exhaust who can give me some advice?
What do u think guys?
Thanks in advance!
Igor

If you are worried about the Volume I would strongly recommend the J's 60RS. I love the Amuse, but where I am it would cause me to get tickets (though it is one of my favorite Exhausts
)
Or if possible try and find someone in your area that has an Amuse and listen to theirs.

The problem is that I'll probably be the first person in my country to have such an exhaust.... I'm the one and only white S2k in my country so now you can imagine how rare S2ks are over here.
Can u compare the R1 Titan with the Invidia Dual Exhaust? I've heared it in person and I think it was not that loud if you wanted to keep it silent, but if u pushed the pedal in vtec it was really loud....
I want the exhaust to be silent when I drive in the city to not make any attention.... I cant afford to drive like madman in the city, police will #### me up.
Although the drone was ear bleeding inside the cabin when the exhaust was warm....
Damn....
i'll take the amuse r1 over the j's 60rs anyday. and don't ever compare the amuse with invidia in the same sentence.

then go with asm, comptech, fuji, apexi ws, etc...the amuse will attract attention.

^ I agree
, but I would have to say that DB (volume) wise they are probably pretty close just the pitch of them is different. Both can be heard from quite a distance at WOT
, but I think the Amuse have less of a drone
I still say J's or if you really want a quiet performer get the ASM 70mm single
