for you!
to your ignorant self. I just spent money on an Amuse GT1 kit, Voltex wing and new CE28s to fit my kit. I don't want to spend anymore money on a hood that i don't need to be dry carbon. so if they offered a hood that was more reasonably priced i'd be all for that.

wow no help really..if you want a hood that fits nice..

Get a Shift Hood, or a BuddyClub hood..very uber rare and pretty affordable.. around the 1200-1800 range.. but to be honest you should just get the frp asm hood

Unobtanium?

If there ever was a hood worth $3400 (price of the race version), it's this hood.

The buddy club hood looks similiar to Amuse or the J's, but in person the vent is higher up on the hood (not quite as high as FEEL'S though). It is much cheaper and still lighter than the stock hood, but the weave does not have the look of typical JDM hoods (seems are very visible and not ligned up well.

If your going to paint it anyway (which one should be doing with any CF hood... ) then the weave doesn't really matter.

I can't find any pictures of the buddy club...
Is the vent high up like the C-West Type II?

the Cwest type II hood is only $882 at bulletproof --- but it does have a OEM air inlet also... which I'm not a fan of.

And I'm not sure about this but I think this MAY be the C-West type I hood...

I just bought the buddy club hood, yes it is a 1x1 weave, and it is well made... I 'll see if I can shoot some pics. Fitment is pretty close to perfect, it is heavier than I thought though twice as much as my old top secret hood. biggest difference from the amuse hood is the vent opening, its probably twice as large compared to the buddy clubs.

slackfaster: the vent opening is at level with the amuse opening.
