Default AP2 with J's boltons and ECU... how Much WHP?

im at work right now... internet is very slow.. couple of questions.. I wanna stick to N/A.. with full J's Boltons I/H/E with stock compression...Not intrested in FI for now.. how much power will i get to the wheels with J's ecu for the AP2 with 91/94 octane.. I was told that i would need all the cooling mods.. with the heat of the header.. would it be OK with stock hood.. next question is can i run this setup without the cooling mods... would it be reliable... would a spoon headgasket be ok also... is it safe for DD? i track the car once a month... and it is my daily driver..

Should be fine with out cooling mods and stock hood.

With full J's I/H/E and ECU you should be up at 225 whp +/- some.

Why not do VAFC tuning instead of ECU?

i was kinda hoping to push a lil more then 230WHP. i heard that with vafc, that for some reason, the ecu will bring it back to factory settings and re-tune it... any input on that..

u'll push more with a single J's titanium exhause, huge difference on high speeds..

Reset only happens on partial throttle tune. Have it tuned for WOT only and your good. Worst case, an you want both part/full throttle tuning done, reset the ecu once a week.

The J's ECU is a pretty impractical piece, it doesn't even use the factory knock sensor so there is a real danger of doing damage to your car, although you're probably ok it's worth mentioning.

AP2s dyno stronger than AP1s, I'd say you would probably be somewhere around 210-215 stock, so with a 70RR and J's header you'd be at about 235whp, I don't know what kind of power their ECU makes but if it's a proper tune for your car and mods it could bump you up to at least 240whp, I would think....
