I have been running this intake for about a month. Before i had the stock box with a k&n filter in it. It feels like the arc intake added throttle responce and a little more power throught out the power band.

I had it and sold it because of heatsoak in the NYC summertime traffic. Throttle response was improved and it sounded great. I didnt notice any butt dyno increase in power though. I got it used and its the only way id ever buy one. Definitly not worth the full price for a new unit.

You can use a strut bar with it. I agree with milkbubble completely -- no power increase, throttle response is improved and it looks/sounds really nice, but heat soak is a definate problem -- I live in FL and in the summer it heat soaks very quickly so I got rid of mine.

I would go with the Comptech or K&N FIPK kit over the ARC unless you are building a show car

also consider an AEM intake if you want to avoid heatsoak and aren't planning to drive through any floods.

Looks great, sounds cool, absolutely no HP added. You might even lose a couple after driving for awhile because of heat soak issues. I definitely wouldn't recommend it, as the S has enough heat soak problems to begin with. I highly recommend the K&N FIPK. Comptech and J's racing are also very nice intakes.
