I'll get flamed for this, but Inline Pro can build you a better motor for you money, and you can pretty much pick your displacement and redline. The limiting factor is how much power you will make pending the availability of good cams, which they are working on. Not to mention in country tuning and support, did I mention you can get a 2 year warranty, that's money in the bank if you plan on racing the car.

One more: any ideas on the redline on the ASM car? I'm curious to see if I could keep the 9k rpm redline with a 2.4L toda stroker.

8500rpm

i believe that is what Amuse sticks to with it's 2.3 liter.

Oh I know very well about the InlinePro 2.5L stroker kit and the advantages. I have not made up my mind about which stroker to get and it will be a few more months anyway before I decide between: Toda 2.4L stroker, InlinePro 2.5L stroker, InlinePro 2.7L stroker, or DIY all-Honda 2.4L stroker. All have their advantages and disadvantages (except for 2.7L, still waiting with baited breath). It also depends a lot on what I ultimately decide for my next project.

Yep he is just looking at his options guys...and the ASM motor is cool.

He's got me and Skip to come to for questions about the IP 2.5, I'll have my dyno results up either today or tomorrow

i think you should try to keep in contact with Bulletproof about the ASM engine info, have them get in contact with some people at ASM, to let you know what the deal is and what they recommend. People forget the the best thing about real tuning shops is being able to talk to the people that are in charge for suggestions and recommendations.

People that don't Japanese or know someone that can help them with that translation issue, are keeping themselves from really great information on this car and making it faster.

if you are building an old Muscle car who do you want to go to for info? some random Japanese dude? no,

if you are building a Japanese sports car . . . . I think you can see where I am going with this.

good luck with the engine, send me pics of the car with the new paint and everything!!!!!!!!
