Sick hood. I've ordered one in FRP that should arrive in the spring. I like how it has the ducting for water

I have a complete ASM front end for my car (hood, fenders, and bumper cover) in FRP that I will need to get painted fairly soon. I'm curious, what is everyone doing for the back side of the FRP, the black areas in the attached photo of my hood? I don't know that I really just want to paint over it as is, as it's still going to look rough, but I don't necessarily like the idea of smoothing it out with body filler either (I know it's too thin to sand it smooth as-is). I'd also like to protect the rain channels in the hood somehow, if I can.

Theres been some shipping delays with the hood due to logistics craze in California ports. Hoping to have an update on that next month!

Go Tuning is still open, just send them an email or give them a call. Ports are a mess and you could be waiting 3 to 6 months for anything.
