I got flamed after posting this pic on fb. Within the first 2 minutes, I received 3 offers, unfortunately none of them are for sale. J's Racing rails on the far left and ASM Recaro rails on the one in the middle.

So obviously both rails fit the seat? J's and ASM (Recaro)

What's the difference though?
Did you compare the height, butt position?

I see you mounted the one with the Recaro rails on the driver side.
Will the J's mounted go on the passenger side?
Any specific reason?

Thanks a lot

btw: ASM-hotness in your car!!

any type of side-mount s2000 rails will work with the ASM recaros, the differences amongst varying rails are basically just height and the type of sliders utilized. I sold the J's Racing rails that are seen in this picture, and I am utilizing ASM Recaro rails on both drivers and passengers seats. Of all of the rails I've had, the ASM Recaros are indefinitely the nicest. The sliders are of the highest quality and are noticeably smoother than all of the other rails that I've had (J's, buddyclub, taitec)

ok good to know they are the most refined.

what about height?
which of the ones listed did you experience to be the lowest?
where do ASM Recaro rails range?

Height-wise, dependent upon your individual seating position.. I found all of them to be within my range of comfort. I don't like sitting too low because it would negate my ability to heel-toe downshift, I prefer to be sitting at a slightly angled position so that my knees can bend slightly.

As far as I know, price-wise, I believe that the ASM Recaro rails are in a similar price range as the Mugen seat rails, but they might be even harder to source than the Mugens.

The ASM Bug has finally hit me... after years of trying to ignore it now I picked up some ASM FRP fenders and I ordered a ASM 08 Wide FRP rear bumper today I can tell this could be more addictive than my old set up

Thanks Tommy @ Gotuning!!
