i will not get anything less than a fully coilover setup b/c i like the fact that the shocks are valved correctly for the springs.

I think that depends on how far you deviate from the stock spring rates. If you really want shocks as well, what about konis+GC sleeves? Its setup alot of drivers use in all kinds of cars and one that works reasonably well. I would take that over the PSS setup.

does anyone know the minimum drop(ie. w/ perchs all the way up) on the buddy club coilovers?

has anyone had/have/or heard any negative feedback on the buddy club racing spec coilovers?

I had a couple problems w/ mine, nothing major though. My first mistake was getting them without the top hats. We had to dissasemble the tops and use the OEM hats. The shop I bought them from said to use the adjustment nut to help remove the hats. Don't do that. Use a impact wrench. I ended up damaging the dampening. Good thing was that Buddy Club rebuilt it for free.

We also had to grind off the mounting nut on the bottom of the coil over because it didn't fit with the OEM bolt. Then we had to go to a special shop to find a replacement nut because it was a fine thread nut/bolt not carried at your local Home Depot. We could have just tried to file off the OEM nut and reuse it, but just found it easier to buy new nuts.

After all was said and done, the install was pretty easy and I definately would buy the Buddy Clubs again. I'm happy with them.

^ besides all that,

A few of us have have clicking problems coming form the rear shocks. Im still having a hell of a time trying to get a hold of Albert from Buddy Club. Hes never freaking there.

Also, the fronts have to be adjusted just right so they dont touch the A arm.

I love the Buddy Clubs!

I run them stiff with both S02s and A048s. I haven't had any problems with installation, adjustment, or usage.
