Thumbs up Buddy spec III vs J's 60 RS.

Ok I have just found out from alot of research on these two exhaust. Is that both are light weight, but one is full titanium and the other one just the muffler section is. I know from AJ-Racing posted dyno in regards about the 60RS with test pipe and header give you an impressive gain of 15whp. But from the research, I haven't come across any dyno plots on the Buddy Club spec III exhaust. The buddy club III exhaust weigh in an impressive 13lbs, one piece design straight flow exhaust. It also a full 65mm pipping, which is bigger then the J's 60mm pipping size.

I was wonder have anyone seen dyno plot on the Buddy Club III exhaust?

yup its a cat-back exhaust, same as the J's 60RS. It just one cost 500 vs 1200.

Isn't the J's 60RS a 63mm ID?

Yes the J's is 63mm, so you're talking about a 2mm difference, which is negligable at best.

I have heard that the Buddy Club Spec 3 is loud as crap, and very light for a stainless system. $500 is cheap for any exhaust, esp one for the S2000, so if you really want to know, buy it and bolt it on! If it doesn't add enough power, just sell it on the For Sale forum.

Oh and the 60RS alone adds like 5-7hp, when you're comparing cat-back exhausts just stick to the cat-backs themselves, the 15hp with a test pipe and header is nice, but there are many combinations of test pipes and headers, so it's just much more simplified to say 5-7hp.

i got the 63rs with a testipipe and its sooooo FU**ing quite. There is very very little drone. when you hit the throttle or hit vtec thats when it roars! O and i have a GPW ap2 and the exhaust fumes dont hit my bumper so i doubt it ill turn black. =)

welll damn I didn't know J's 60RS is actually a 63mm in size. I wonder why they call it 60RS then? Yeah any N1 style exhaust will be loud as a mother! I'll just wait and see if I can find any buddy club laying around. Last I heard they were on back order.

A friend has the BC on his AP1
IMO, it is the BEST single for the S2000
500 bucks, light weight, 65mm ID CAT back
loud, but not too droney
the only think i dont like, the tips sticks out far past bumber and the tip is huge
but for the money, i think its the best, and lets face it, all singles will perform roughly the same.. so for 5 bones.. its a steal!
