Default Carbon Fiber Interior?

I saw a pic somewhere on S2Ki, where his entire interior was Carbon! It was on the center console (2004-2005 style),the radio Door, the Instrument Panel, and the Roll bar hoops! I'm all over the Roll bar hoops in CF! Anyone know what I'm talking about and where I can get it?

i found the image.... It even replaces the Glove box!! Gotta Have this!!

Someone correct me if i'm wrong......I THINK that's Kodokans car. I also think that the CF bits were made by Mastergrade. Very nice indeed.

Not mastergrade... and they are not CF peices. It is overlay done by some company that is close to him and they do a very nice job of it.

You sir are the winner

That is Kokodan's car and I actually have talked with him about it.

It is not an overlay of carbon fiber, in fact it is not carbon fiber at all. It is a chemical process that essentially produces the same finish as the OEM faux-carbon fiber pieces in say the DC2 Integra Type R (if you remember the vents and such were that carbon fiber "look").

Apparently the process is pretty expensive as well.

I think it looks neat and is very unique, however they are not carbon fiber pieces and they are not carbon fiber overlays. Just OEM pieces with this treatment done to them

Using that logic it would be just as lame to you if it was real carbon pieces

The only purpose to having the entire OEM interior crafted in CF would be show bling. The CF parts wouldn't net you that great a savings over OEM plastic. If it was all about functionality, the interior would be gutted ala all the real race cars
