for ingenuity!
Who made the actual snorkel? J's?

What color is your car? Looks like prepped black primer, no?

I've never understood why anybody buys the Mugen intake over the J's. I can't possibly understand how it's better. Your combo looks good.

No, that's just the snorkel for the Type-S bumper that replaces the snorkel on their full intake system.
I came up with this idea, but didn't know what filter to use/how to fit it to stock pipe. So now, when I get the Type-S bumper, I'm fitting the Type-S snorkel to the stock box (cutting the round filter part off, of course) so it will be sort of like the ultimate snorkel for the stock box.

Sweet setup - how does it feel on the road? What kind of filter are you using?

^^^ yeah, what brand/size filter? Did you cut your front bumper? How did you go about making the "filter harness"? What about support for the snorkel? Is it just dangling there? Too many questions?

We want details...if you don't mind. I've thought of doing this but I really dont want to cut my hood and bumper.

The snorkel is holding in place by two self tapping screws in upper rad support. I am using K&N filter for S2k applicatoin but do not use it it is too big a base to properlly bolt. ( ihad too make a black silicone gasket to hold)
The next one i make will be 5.5'' long cone filter with a 6'' base and a 3.5'' diameter rubber exit.

I found that it feels good. Nothing crazy because I/H or E do not make much for our car.
I did not cut the bumper yet since i need to keep the part and put it on for street and take it off for track.

hope this helps
