Default Choices!

I am going to be getting home from Iraq soon and will be heading to Hawaii.

I am going to purchase the following so far:
K&N FIPK
AUT Cooling Plate
T1R Test pipe
Emanage ULT
EXH???

I originally wanted to go with the dual Invidia 70mm V3. Not so sure if I want an exhaust that loud. I like the look of duals, and I am going primarily for hp gains up top. I definitely want to make the same or more power than the Invidia, just not the noise.

Suggestions?

why dont you go for the J's ti dual? i dont think it would be loud bcz i heard the j's 63mm single and it was much quieter than the dual invedia. also the dual t1-r would make a nice choice

I will be running a test pipe with a N/A setup. I have heard that the T1R is fairly loud. Not too sure about the J's setup.

why dont you check the Tanabe Dual? my friend has it on his 2006 s2k and it sounds great! not too loud but sounds powerful. it also not expensive and looks good too. not Ti but its a light weight exhaust.

I don't believe they have a 70mm version. I would lose power with a 63mm setup. I have actually decided to just go with the Invidia and get a front lip for my car. I guess if I want power I have to sacrafice noise.

T1R makes a dual 70mm, it's called the Sparrow 70R and everyone I know who has one loves it. It's much quieter than the Invidia, and it sounds awesome -- low rumble (for an s2k) with a nice grunt, plus it has the burnt tips like the Invidia anyway.

The T1R 70R Sparrow is a nice choice for 70mm duals. The Tracy Sports 70mm dual looks nice too. Depends how deep your pockets are. Good luck.

Change number 1 thousand.

Just watched a video of an s2k with a T1R 70mmV3 Single, and I LOVED it. Quieter than the Invidia and it makes gobs more power. Not a fan of the single Muffler with dual cut-outs, but I am a fan of getting the most out of everything.

Anyone know where I can get this exhaust cheapest?

If you still want duals there is no beating the Amuse Dual R1 Titan! Bottom line. Full titanium, only weighs 15 lbs! And at wide open throttle its onle 93 db! It will add about 6 hp also, which is a respectable number for a dual!
