Default Coilovers in the winter

Anyone run coilovers all year round including winter?
I will be doing this for the first time this winter and was wondering on their durability in cold temps.

btw. it will be with the Tein Flex.

If it makes any matter, I had the Apexi N1's on my old Del Sol in the winter and I blew two of em. Not sure if it was due to the weather or not, but they were just fine before hand and no abuse.

hmmm... I had no clue that the colder temps even had an effect on them. I have been running Tein Flex during the winter with no issues. My S is my daily driver BTW.

id be more worried about... the salt getting on them and eating awaay at them than them blowing out.

I don't think it so much has to do with the cold temps as it does the salt!! Salt tends to want sieze up and ruin suspension. IMO not worth it!! If it is a must for you to drive your car in winter I would switch back to stock..IMO..

The Flex has a teflon coating so hopefully that will minimize the rust. I'll also spray them regularly.

They throw down a lot of salt here in NY during the winter, probably not as much as by you, but its still enough that it coats your car if you don't wash it once a week. My Flex still look brand new when I look under the car, unlike some buddy club's that I have seen that have totally rusted up.

Are they made out of something that prevents this?
I plan to go with the T1R's, but I daily drive my car in the winter and might have to rethink if the T1R's will rust out like the Buddy Club's.
