Default countersunk cone knob

I have a team voodoo round knob and i like it alot but honestly the stock knob has a better feel and weight to it.....is there a company that makes a countersunk knob that is nice and heavy like the stock one, but shortens the throw? i know someone makes them, but i dont want to spend $100+ for a shift knob. let me know. thanks.

The only ones I can think of are the ARC and most of them are $120+. Under $100, I dont know of any.

why not counter sink your oem.

put into a vice.. drill the bottom hole a tad bit larger.. so as you screw down it wont stop where threads stop.

should be able to pretty much get the top of the knob be about 10mm taller than the shifter bolt

wouldnt i burn the threads out with a drill and have to re-thread it? if i used a bit large enough to make more space for the shifter it would be the same size as the thread, correct? let me know thanks

well the thread is like 1" up into the knob.

so drill out the thread so u still got like.. 1/4" of thread (up near top..)

thats counter sinking it so the bottom edge can go beyond the threaded section.

its hard to explain on here.

theirs a thread where guy did it and took pics.. idk where i saw it tho. i think its called like oem countersunk knob. or something
