im looking at getting the 3 piece cusco chassis brace, i like that it goes the lenght of the car with the X brace design. Im just wondering if its worth it, does it help with stiffening the chassis enough to benifet? also how much does it weight? anything that would inform me more would be great. let me know thanks.

I am just guessing, but I bet the added weight of it will take away from the gains. And it's pretty light.
In other words, I doubt it does anything. Kind of like buying a Cusco strut bars...

 

does anyone know how much this item weighs? what its made of ? i ran searches but didnt get much good info.

 

I have one sitting in my closet right now waiting for the time to install. The best guess I can give ya is it weighs approximately 20-25 pounds total. When I have the time to install it, I will be able to give you a better review on it.

 

I've used it on my car, it makes the chassis noticably more stiff. You can feel the difference immediately after driving with it.

It is heavy though. If you want the same thing, but light weight, Carbing makes one in aluminium.
