NO D2's

There are several low priced coilovers to get lowered without buying OBX type stuff

Apexi ev
Buddy club or Megan
Tein Mono's

If those are still too much just get springs.

megan??...

well i may be wrong. but for the past few years...obx and megan were like same "ebay" buy......when people bought a fart can or trust bar it was megan...obx...nex...etc

someone from my city who owns a shop was a retailer or d2 and had them on his ep3 and they seemed very nice...i know d2 isnt as expensive as the name brands but i wouldnt put them in the same category as obx or nex or other cheapo same manufacter different name parts....

obviously i could be wrong...but from what ive read and seen...they may just be a good deal...

i mean what is the BIG difference between coilovers like d2,tein,skunk,jic,hks...??

d2 and ksport are the same and just as cheap0 and unreliable as megan and all the other ebay brands. Its really a hit or miss with these brands I mean they will do their job by lowering your car but how long will they do that untill they leak is questionable.

I had D2's on my del sol for 2 years. They are 36 way adjustable which is more than many of the cheaper coilovers. I never had any problems with them and no leaks. IMO they were just as well constructed if not better than the megan, buddy club, or skunk 2. I did a bunch of auto-x as well as daily driving. I'd buy them again.

i have to agree with dub i am ultimately a fan of d2 and ksport on a 377 whp civic build i was running ksport coil overs with 16/18 kg springs for 2 years and never had a problem on my s2k now i had ksports for the first couple months of owning it had 21/21kg and loved every bit of it drove it bottoming out and it handled abuse very well but i decided i wanted to try out d2 especially since there was a good deal on it and now im running d2 with 21/21kg springs and i still have had no problems with it no leaks no rubbing no issues im sold on d2 and ksport i maybe wrong but i will never go with any other suspension besides d2 and ksport... look at this drop...

Do you want to just dump your car and say you have a 36 way adjustable suspension...like that means anything, or do you want it to actually make the car handle properly?

If it is the former, then get any cheap suspension, since they are all basically the same and probably come from the same manufacturer.

If it is the later, get something from Tein, KW, Koni, etc.
