70mm piping will beat out 63mm in all areas of the powerband, even on the low end.

that loss of toqr and HP down low is a myth.

Im wondering the same thing.
J's 60rs>>>perfect, not too loud
J's 70rr>>>waay too loud for me.
J's 70rs>>>I've never heard one in person and am looking at buying one. Is it gonna be A LOT louder than the 60rs? Very noticeable?

Thanks
I run a J's 70RS on my AP2. I love the sound and don't find it too loud if I'm on a trip that's under 3hrs. There was a significant (to me) drone in the interior (low RPMs) when I ran it with the stock cat, but it went away when I put a TP on.

EXACTLY. Finally somebody on this forum with a brain regarding exhaust.

Whats sad is that "back pressure" and "you'll lose all your low end" crap is still thrown around. I just don't have the patience to address it every post.

I went to 3 inch (NA). What does everyone say "oh no, thats way too big, etc".

This turned out to be BS, like most stuff that floats around on message boards.

Ike was that on your car on the October drive? I don't remember that it sounded too loud. I think I could live with the one you had. The only one that sounded to loud for me was RedS2kRacers but I was right behind him.

One has a resonator which helps quiet the exhaust and one does not.

Realize that the piping on the stock cat is 2.25in so that becomes your restriction not the difference between 2.5in and 2.75in.
