Default dyno'd today....question....

i was at a car show today, there was a portable dyno and i thought what the hell, i just put on my comptech blower with after cooler and t1r exhaust sooooo lets get some numbers. 2 pulls...... first pull 209hp at 7100 rpm steadily climbing to that point then a 65hp drop over the next 2000rpm it was a sharp drop then slow increase to 190hp at 9100rpm .......next run was similiar. possible dyno problem ? my car feels really good and pulls hard all the way thru the rpm range....has anyone ever seen or heard of anything like this ? or does my sc s2000 only have a best of 211hp at 7100rpm

I'd say dyno, otherwise something would have to be seriously wrong with your car. With just your exhaust you should pull a peak power of that much, so being S/C'd should yield much higher numbers.

If you cant feel that drop, then I'd bet it was a dyno problem...a drop that dramatic would be noticeable. VTEC is only a 20hp change and very noticeable.

I hope you didn't have to pay for that dyno run.

HP and boost should rise all the way up to redline. Dropping power after 7K could be your belt slipping. I just checked my dyno graph and at 7K I'm right around 215-220hp.

Also I read on your sig that you have gears...that can also throw the Dyno graph off if gears arn't taken into consideration and then calibrated for right?
