Thumbs up EMS?

I read in one of our forums that you dont need the yellow box for gears if you have an EMS but someone in Honda-Tech told me it was unadvisable to run without the yelllowbox even if you have EMS. Which is right? I know there are people that have gears with just EMS(and no yellowbox) but is it safe?

i just picked up an ems and am still playing with software, but i beleive you can put in the stock gearing for each gear, and then just plug in the rear ratio and the ems will correct your speedo. after all, all the sensors go to the ems now instead of the oem scu, so i dont see why it wouldnt.

i will check tonight.
