Default ETD

Hey people who have (ETDs) Engine Torque Dampers. I'm curious about how much of a difference it actually affects your driving? Does it affect it for example if your tapping the throttle on and off? or Shifting characteristics at all?

And if has there been anyone who actually happened to change to and from different ETD's for any reason and have experienced a significant difference, please input as well.

Thanks for looking

p.s. if this is a repost please leave a link to direct me in the right direction, thanks again.

Short answer is no.

If no one links you, I'll search up some threads in a few hours after dinner.

A guy I know said it helped with his high RPM shifts a lot. He even took it on and off a couple times because he was so surprised. This was AP1 revving to 9k. Maybe not as big a deal at 8k.

I have one because I think it will create less stress for the motor mounts over time.

I think they're utterly pointless and there for engine-bling. I still have a J's Racing ETD I've been meaning to get rid of.

Personally ive heard people both ways with the ETD. Some of my customers ( experienced drivers ) claim they do notice the difference, while a few other say they cannot. The ones that reported benefits was usually related to engine movement between shifts.
