Exclamation First Molding GB (Manufacturer of J's Racing)

First Molding is a high quality aero parts manufacturer in Japan that specializes in carbon fiber aero production. They produce everything from carbon hoods, to diffusers, to full karts. Despite being the carbon parts supplier for J's Racing, many have never heard of First Molding. This group buy will be a great introduction to a great manufacturer.

Rather than a group buy for the usual First Molding parts such as aero hoods and rear diffusers (often sold as J's), we're offering parts that provide performance gains at reasonable prices, that are compatible with any aero parts you have (including stock bumpers) or even compatible with cars besides the S2000.

The following items we are introducing to you are truly universal and truly improve performance. Whether you are a track day junkie or just a weekend touge enthusiast, these parts will fit your car no matter how you modify it and will give you increased aerodynamic efficiency that translates into faster lap times, period.

Even though this is a group buy, we are not requiring a set amount of orders before we begin to import these parts.. so once you place an order with us, its on its way! Lead time is about 8-14 weeks on average.

I see that the mirrors have a small carbon plate to attch them but what do I do if I have a DC5? I would need that triangular plate to replace the stock side mirrors as well.

I bought some carbon sheet way back when i first had my DC5, and no one had mirrors yet, and made my own bases, using the oem mirror base as a template, then reused the rubber gasket. ill see if i can find a pic for ya. ( as long as BP doesnt mind me helpin them out )

i would use some carbon steel bolts or something for attaching the plate, i used whatever i had at the time.

Thanks for the tip!

You can get these carbon sheets from various places like Autobacs. Cost is usually around $30 for a paper size sheet. Cutting shouldn't be too hard, you could probably do it yourself.
