no they make a optional CF Cover even for the FRP version fender

LoL I saw the J's fenders in person and loved them. So I ended up ordering those also. Oh and no I didn't end up purchasing that carbon cover thing just kind of looks out of place imo.

Mainly the cwest fenders are expensive because it is really sensetive to prep and time consuming. I believe they have to be sanded down, then sprayed with primer. Also, the are little air pockets between the CF weave and after you spray them, the air comes up and makes little holes, so those have to be filled as well.

So --- like their honey comb dry CF hoods --- These are "Race only" and not as finished as they would be for street applicatons ---

I guess that makes sence ---

It's actually a little weird that a company like J's makes their race stuff speced for the public -- J's is at least as race bread (if a little slower ) as C-West
