search next time. depends on the model but i believe single tends to give more power generally. i think a better question to ask from here is what singles produce the most power... maybe someone else can chime in on that? although i believe searching may give you the answer to that question as well.

Wow...Did you read any posts about exhausts before asking this question. It's not just that some of us think single gives more power. Every S2000 dyno ever produced proves that a single exhaust gives more power. It's pretty simple really. (To a point) the less restrictive the exhaust is, the more power you will get. The Y-pipe in the stock S2k exhaust is restriction. Also, a test pipe will always give you more HP than a catalytic converter. Since you're a rookie, I won't go into too much detail. Bottom line, go with a 70mm single exhaust and test pipe, you will see the most gains. The gains can be improved even more by adding an intake, bigger TB, header (NOT DC, Megan racing, or Spoon), and tuning the car. MY 00's were tuned very conservatively from the factory, so you could see a huge power increase with a well-tuned AEM standalone.

^The 70mm singles already come with their own 70mm test pipe or are 70mm headerback. I think buying a test pipe is unnecessary (and a bottleneck).

Not only will you gain more hp from a single it also, and more importantly, weighs less.

stupid louder. i think it's safe to say that most single titanium exhausts (T1R 70RT, top secret, etc) will be louder than their non-titanium single counterparts..

i myself own the T1R 70r, which is a single exhaust.. it sounds nice, feels good with the power gains, but is not ear deafening like Invidia.. you can still carry a conversation while driving, unless my foot, for some unknown reason, decides to get heavy and floor it
