There is no need to shave or get wider fenders with the 18x9.5 +42 in the rear. Just roll your fenders and get about 3 degrees of negative camber. I ran them like that with no problems at all. That's why you go with the 225 series tires, to avoid the bigger fenders.

I got 18X8+49 and 18X9.5+55. I know they arent GP Sports specs but how much negative camber should i be running fornt and back. ATM im rubbing both front and rear on decent bumps. Im lowered on Tanabe GF 210 Springs which lower .8 inch front and back.

18x8+34 and 18x9+42 with no rubbing whatsoever... took some time at the body shop though... but it was worth it... I have enough clearence that I'm thinking of going with a lower offset in the rear... I also stretched my tires a bit, and it helps ALOT...

veilside do u think i can run with a 8 with a 38 offset in front and a 10 with a 45 offset in the rear with stretched tires?
First off, how small a tire are you going to go? 225s in the front will be stretched and they'll rub with that offset. 205s will be way to small, there is no way I can think of that will work without getting new wider fenders. You have to realize that you can stretch a tire, but there is only a certain point where the tire isn't going to fit on a rim that wide.

Dan's 100% correct on the tire issue... running that low an offset with stock fenders is tire doom... you'll need to either modify your stock ones at a body shop, or buy some wider fenders... The only reason I have such a low offset up front is for my brakes...

He may have wider fenders thus being able to run that size. I was very close to rubbing at a +37 18x7.5 front even with my Cwest fenders. I ran a 215/35/18 tire. I will never do that again. The ride was crappy.

Just get normal offsets like everyone else. You will be happier in the long run.

Chris is right, I can do it because I spent a grip at the bodyshop having all 4 fenders modified heavily... C-West wasn't selling fenders at that point... I also cannot run regular offsets anymore because they look like they're drowning in the body now... you should have seen the car when I was waiting on my new rims.. .the stockers looked like bicycle tires on a ducati...

I think there are more guys running around with some variation of CE28Ns then SSR SP1s. As for the kit, the sideskirts have been everywhere as well since they were copied.
