Default How do you guys adjust your coil overs?

1) adjust the spring itself by lowering it on its 2 rings

2) turn bottom colum

or

3) use option 2 and then option 1 to fine tune height if need be.

if you just loosen the bottom perch, grab a hold of the upper portion of the coilover (spring/dual perch assembly) and turn it, so that it threads either up or down into the coilover casing. If it's not easy enough to turn just by gripping it, you can grab one of your adjusting wrenches to turn the entire assembly. BTW, cleaning the threads with a brush before doing anything and/or using lube helps the assembly to turn easier.

I'm not sure about the buddy clubs but with mine you don't have to uninstall them to shorten or lengthen by using the lower collar. You should use the lower collar though because otherwise you are playing with the preload which should be independent of ride height.

I just loosen the most lower collar, and grab the whole assembly and adjust by hand.

This is what Ive done. I have both, Tein Flex on the S2000 and Buddy Club Racing SPec on the NSX. The Flex seem to be easier to adjust this way for some reason.

na, nevefr been a fan of a corner balance, i change my set up too often to do this. Ill wait till Im driving the car come late april/may to see how it feels and possibily get a alignment then but again, i play with it too much either way. Never had a issue and Ive been racing cars for the past 8 years

Just gotta know how to dial it in yourself!
