i am not too sure if he is very well off, maybe gets enough to raise a family and pays a few bills... thats about it from what i can see. the man does make great headers! we run a few of them in our cars. the wait must really suck! we were lucky i guess. its been a few years since we've ordered a set.

For someone to have a 6+ month wait time for parts he advertises has to be the most unorganized individual and businessman,
or he is a very dumb person.

I am inclined to believe that both are not true.

There is some lack of communication it seems though through to their customers. While I understand they are buy there is always a way to handle situations like this. Even a possible hire of some one into the company who just handle things of this nature regarding emails, phone calls, or even responding to message boards where they have personally at one point long ago made their presence known. Only to ever so quickly vanish as if it had never happened.

I agree. He's a great tuner and car enthusiast no questions asked, but from a professional stand point I don't think he has the right thing going on. I also understand that his priority is the race cars he works on and that the public production products aren't at the top of the list which is fine too, but if he'd like to be professional about things which I'd like to assume that any company strives for, he's failed by letting out so many release dates for his products that he hasn't met. He needs better communication with his customers and keep them more up to date since he already has their money it's the least he can do for them. If it wasn't for the lag of release of the products I would buy his products since they seem to extract more power than and other company has from this engine. I'm looking forward to third party dynos of his products once they are finally out!

have you guys ever dealt with fabricators? do you know why they are the only one working in the shop? why its a one man operation from grand opening till grand closing?
why nobody else can do it better than they can? why they never return phone calls?
i'll answer all of this in a day or two... i am too tired right now. i have years and years of experience dealing with fabricators!!!! they all suck at business!!!! too much into themselves maybe... just must be a common trait with most fabricators or something.

i am not saying john is like this... he is actually a very nice guy who is deep into christianity and his christian music. i am not vouching for the man. just telling my past experiences dealing with him. would i deal with him again? probably if i don't have to wait 6 months.

I haven't worked with fabricators but I agree with where you're coming from. And I will sum up my regards to his products and company by your last sentence. If I didn't have to wait 6 months (or more). The complaining of not enough contact with the customers wouldn't have been a problem if the products were released on time. But since the release date is now postponed, everyone wants to know what's up and when they will get what they paid for. Again, great guy and great tuner, but he needs someone to do PR for him.

John doesn't take any money up front -- at least for this project.
