Default Intake for INGS+1

Hey guys,

I was looking at the INGS kit and was wondering if there is an intake peice that will use the stock air box to take advantage of the bumper. I will also be shopping around for a clear bra if anyone knows where to get a good deal on one.

Thanks,

Digs

J's do have a snorkel that fits between the J's type S bumper and the stock airbox.

If the INGS air duct is the same as J's type S bumper , that is the piece for you

Sorry just saw the stock airbox part
J's makes one that will work perfectly.. one where you dont have to cut hood, and 1 where you do
cutting hood is better

no, at that distance from the filter, there isn't enought suction... even if the filter was right behind the opening, there wouldn't be enough suction. The problem people have with hydrolock is when the filter is down low on the car, and becomes submerged to a greater extent...

You have two options. One is the J's Racing type snorkel specially for their bumper just like the Ings opening and the second option is Mugen CAI (old version) which isnt exactly directed to the slot of the bumper. The new version goes further down in order to suck air from below.

Sorry Bro your wrong
I do NOT have the original mugen Longer intake on my car, and the opening on my ING is straight line to my Mugen intake.
