Top marks for taking the effort to invest and run an aero test like this, thanks for sharing your input.

Didn't have time to do another run this weekend. Got caught up with a bunch of other shit. I did get some more reading done, and I'll be talking to a few people today and see what their thoughts are. Gonna take some measurements of the J's wing as well to do some number crunching.

My two target areas are the rad inlet and the back part of the hardtop.

Will update for sure when I do anymore runs and find anything else

Borbor, with the filming car in the lane next to you, you will not get "clean" airflow, thereby skewing the results.

A couple of us have been hashing around this subject matter: the aerodynamic brick that is our car. We believe our theory warrants merit. We'll be mocking some things up and testing on the track. Our testing won't be as repeatable(driver dependent), however, the data logged on the DL1 will help.

Btw, at what speeds were the photos taken? If you would, could you PM me with the speeds? Thanks.

I just realised I totally omitted the front splitter in my post.

I can't figure out what is going on at the leading edge of the splitter here. Instead of blowing straight into the rad, the tufts come back and then wraps itself on the underside?

yet further into the splitter, it's as normal.

what the heck is going on at that leading edge
Is it possible that the strings on the front of the splitter dropped down while you were stopped, then as you began to move, they were pinned against the underside of the splitter by the airflow?

Are you planning on running 17/9+35 all around? Would you know if that will clear the spoon calipers and the rear would rub with 255/40's?

That's the plan.

Rear bumper would be the bigger concern for the rub if you run the fender lip. It's got more than enough room to clear the fenders.
