Default J's catch can hit the hood?

Hi Guys...i just installed my J's catch can but after i screwed the cap back on i just managed to close the hood but it is still so high that the cap makes the hood bulge up after i forced the bonnet closed, is the fitment really that bad or is there something i didnt do right?

I say check all the brackets for the catch can. Then if that doesnt help, adjust the 4 rubber nubs that the hood sits on. You can raise it or lower it.

Yup,the ones I've seen hit the hood.
When Bjeoung had the problem with his J's catch can hitting his hood I thought maybe it's because he doesn't have the J's hood.We thought maybe the J's hood has some special clearance in that area but I see you have the J's hood so scratch that idea.
I've also heard rumors that this is a problem with the old type (with J's emblem) that has been corrected with the new type (J's sticker no emblem)
Which version J's catch tank do you have?
Can you post up some pictures?

We also had problems with the Mugen and ASM hood. Only solution was to pull the L-coupler off the reservoir cap and run a longer hose from the radiator directly into the reservoir tank.

Oh I thought the car in your Avatar was yours.
What Tommy is saying is remove the little plasttic elbow on the oem catch tank cap and just stick a flexable hose through the hole in place of the elbow or run no cap at all

Damn I want this part! I have a J's Type-V hood & would love to test to see if it rubs.
