i just need to get this cleared up, i ordered the j's racing FX 60RS single exhaust and it has finally arrived this week, but what confused me was the exhaust when i got it out of the wrapper,
from what iv seen over the years was that all j's racing single exhausts were a 1 piece design and had an agressive looking angle upon installation. mine was a 2 peice design and had no angle when i installed it!
whats up with that?? are the newer versions different than the older ones? iv seen both old and newer FX models, all were 1 piece exhausts.
can someone clear that up for me

 

You got the AJ racing 60rs edition which is a two piece design.

Yes, it is the newer 2 piece design. They implemented this for shipping purposes as the 1 piece is hard to ship. I spoke with them directly when I was in the market for an exhaust.

It is heavier by 1.5~2lbs & has a redesigned resonator to prevent internal rattling (FX).

I wasn't aware though that they are no longer angled. Show us some pics if you get a chance.

i think the angle turn down looks more aggressive then straight turn down
