yeah, i know of a ton of exhausts that will fit an 06. i'm wanting to know when j's will produce exhausts for the 06.

 

J's racing didnt know about the exhausts not fitting 06+ until i told them this summer. Their 06+ in japan didnt get the same revisions on the body/rear subframe the US got. So, Its hard for them to RnD fitment there. I would have to get an exhaust, chop it up some, and do the fitment and piping path here. because the exhaust is titanium, its easier said than done I'll see if its something we can look into doing this spring maybe.

i heard that the 70rr will fit. someone had it on their 06.

 

Were you talking about doing some R&D yourself and then sending the exhaust to Japan so they can make prototypes? Or were you talking about doing custom work on every exhaust that is for an 06? Why not just send a US S2K over to J's in Japan and let them do the R&D? It might seem like a hassle, but everyday there's going to be someone with an 06 or 07 that wants a J's exhaust, so it would pay for itself.

 

how do all of the other jdm manufacturers fabricate us spec exhausts? seems like you're trying to reinvent the wheel. j's can't be that out of the loop.
