Default J's Exhausts for NA

I'm considering the following exhausts:

70RS Single
60 RS Dual
70 RS Dual

My question is: Is there any negative impact of running the 70 RS Dual on a mild NA car (stock now, intake/header maybe TB in the future) besides that it weighs more than the 60RS dual and doesn't make as much power as the single version? I don't have plans to go FI in the future.

Other than the fact that you'll be spending more money, the ones you mentioned are the only ones I see. I feel that the 'negative impact' is minsicule. If your not looking to squeeze out the maximum numbers and possible and you like the dual look, I'd say go for it.

Not sure how loud you like your exhaust, but the 70rs single is very loud.

The 60rs is pretty quiet though, about the same Mugen.

I'm looking something louder than HKS/Mugen, but not as loud as a 70mm header back system like the 70rr. I'm hoping to save weight too. I know the 70rs would be the lightest, but I'm not sure if I want a single with an AP2 bumper.

Mainly what I'm trying to figure out is if a 70mm dual is too big for a mild NA car. While searching I keep reading that 70mm dual woudl be best for FI and I wasn't sure if there were any negetive effects on a mild NA (I/H/E)car.

If you are going for FI in the future, just go with the 70mm set up now. The difference is power between the 2 wont be enough to justify getting a 60 now, and switching later.

I don't plan on going FI in the future and wanted to guage if the 70mm dual would be overkill or even produce less power than a 60mm dual on a mild NA setup.

Be advised if you switch to something a titanium single, you will loose a ton of weight (not literally a ton, but quite a bit) off of the rear of the car ... it makes the rear end want to swing out more. If you're used to driving RWD cars that like to do that, then go for it ... otherwise, you could be in for a nice surprise

Good feedback! I'll keep that in mind. I know it's a little harder to lose weight off the front end and I'm already running without the spare/jack. I could probably start filling the gastank past 1/2 way though...

Any thoughts on whether a 70mm dual vs. a 60mm dual would show much performance difference on a i/h/e only NA setup?

regarding not feeling the AP2 rear bumper with a single tip. i know how you feel having an AP2 myself, and the j's single. If it helps you out at all, im going to be doing clay models for AP2 CF bumper caps in a few weeks.

Id recomend the 70RS in your case. The dual wont do you very much, and is added weight in the end. FYI, we have 70RS' in route

An AP2 vestigial exhaust cap would be awesome! Can you PM the price you'd like for the enroute 70RS shipped to 55411?
