Thumbs up j's f20 engine?

I was looking at getting this swap. I know I have to send my stock engine back but will I have to send it before or after the j's engine comes in? Also is it street legal here in the state, and will the stock intake manifold work with it?

I'm not exactly sure. I am waiting for an email back from j's racing north america. All anything I have read has said is it is 300 hp. This is what aj-racing.com says

"All engines (long block) has been balanced (11.8, 12.4 or 13 compression option), blueprinted with flow balanced head with special valve angle by well expierenced J's Racing mechanic to assure precision & reliability. J's Racing dynoed their 2.0L engine with other J's Racing components and the engine made 300hp/30kgm."

Also says it recommends to get the j's ecu.

You have to read carefully and make sure you aren't getting the short end of the stick.

So the engine is balanced and based on the N1 race regulation.

So what exactly does this mean? Not too much.

Also it makes 300 HP to what the crank? Also it states they used "other" J's racing components. So that mean, I/H/E and ECU.

IMO it isn't worth it. Spend that money on a Supercharger unless you plan on possibly racing this engine every weekend and even still is it worth it?

yea it just has j's cam and valve spring, valve cover, there is no bore or stroke and yes hp is rated to the crank. i agree with everyone here not worth it. buy a f20 short block. normally you can find them on the ebay or on here even. stroke it, head work, port and polish and build it up yourself. for 5000 you can def make sure its done right.

Get a used short block and do 2.3L stroke.
