Default J's header + J's heatshield fits?

Hey guys

Ive read that the stock heatshield cannot be used with J's header, but I wonder if the J's heatshield that they make for the Js engine torque damper would fit along with Js header?

Im shopping for ETD now and planning the Js header in the future so I want to get this right although I was enquiring the spoon etd

Thanks

no it will... you are thinking of the heatshield directly connected to the stock header.

Hmm thats probably what it was about...when I read it I was thinking the black heatshield

So how many headers out there can be fitted with the actual heatshield that is directly connected to the stock header

Really want the J's but if there is one that I can use the oem heatshield I might consider it ( I heard Rick's fits?)

I don't know of many aftermarket headers with the tabs needed to bolt up the stock header heatshield.

What is your reason for wanting to cover a pretty J's header with the stock heatshield? Heat insulation? or Cop insulation? I havn't heard of may S2K's getting there hoods popped for inspection...

Yeah just for heat insulation, not too desperate with it though, just curious what is available

But Ive heard the ARC heatshield works with toda and Js?

But then Im not even sure which header to get...hmm, toda,j's, spoon, tracy sports....
