from what i've read, the mugen gives midrange and almost no peak gains, while the j's gives a pretty decent bump in the high end (maybe midrange, too?)

personally, im going to get a j's when i have the money.

Mugen = J's in quality and name...

In my opinion...J's header > Mugen

hmmm... this is going to be tough decision.....

i would go w/ mugen... cuz... of durability.....??? :confuse:

for some reason... mugen would have better durability than j's....

yes, j's is better in performance side...

Am a very happy owner of the J's Racing Header. The power is everywhere and the torque as well especially before vtec. The pre-vtec field/rpms is full now. Actually I enjoy driving the S even more between 3500-7000rpms. Of course this doesnt mean that the vtec point and high end is not powerful.

Anyway in general am very happy with J's Racing. Check also the link in my signature regarding my J's Racing project.

thanks for the info...im leaning more towards the j's...as for the durability of the mugen..im pretty sure that someone on here has had theres crack before more then once but king motorsports took care of them on it...

energetic..just to be curious...what exhaust are you running?

I have had both. First Mugen then J's. Imho you should choose J's, the difference going from Mugen > J's is a bigger jump than Stock > Mugen.

The biggest improvement with J's for me was in low/mid-range drivability.

The Mugen benefit is the heatshield.

J's headers are arriving in less than two weeks fyi. If you'd like to buy one, drop me an email or give us a call at the shop. ben@bulletproofautomotive.com 310 327 4676

Also, I'd encourage you to consider the Amuse header as a close alternative.
