j's intake

Default j's intake

hi guys i have a j's racing intake on my s2k.. but the thing is there a big whole in the side and i tried looking on the net and i saw that a rubber tube is attached on the whole... what is it for????? thanks!!!

where is the air pump??? my j's intake doesnt have the tube and the rubber to mount the tube on the intake.... tthe owner coverd it with plastic sealant... what can i put on it to replace the sealant?? thanks!!!

air pump is part of the emmisions system. it produces the whistle similar to the sound of a supercharger when you first start the car. this is where its at and this is where the second rubber hose is connected to, its under the driverside headlight connected to the zinc colored bracket:

you dont have to necessarily connect it. you should put a breather on it though to have it go direct to athmosphere. and yes domestic S has it too.

what is i dont have it on my car?????? will it be a problem???? will the CEL go on????????will it affect my engine/???? thanks!!!
