Thumbs down J's Intake, ASM Rad Cool Plate, Cusco STB

I have a few questions concerning a combination of products...

1 - Will the ASM Radiator Cooling Plate (Version 2) clear the J's Racing Intake without any modifications? According to Bulletproof, its made to clear the ASM Intake but what about the J's or even Mugen intakes?

2 - Will the Cusco Struct Tower Brace clear the J's Racing Intake?

3 - Which intake, J's or Mugen, will function better with my OEM AP1 front bumper?

My original plan was to get the GruppeM Intake and ASM Radiator Plate (Version 1). However I just learned that the ASM Radiator Plate (Version 1) has been discontinued and only Version 2 with the cut out for the ASM Intake is available. So now I'm thinking about either the J's Racing or Mugen intakes but it has to work with the ASM Radiator Plate (Version 2) and my Cusco STB.

Please help me!

Yes it will clear but it looks weird because the Js snorkel is so narrow. It will work fine. But if you have this radiator panel I would go with a Mugen or ASM intake to fill out the cut correctly/proportionately.

did you get a wait time for the ASM pannel? i hear its like 6 months.

im going the same route as you kinda...Mugen CAI with a Cusco pannel...Im going to make a template and cut the cusco piece so it fits around the mugen like the ASM does

Thanks JsAP1. ASM is nice but way out of my financial range. I'm considering the Mugen too but I'm leaning towards J's because of the Tuschinko chamber.

Guedo, I have no idea yet.

The wait is less than one day if you're local or a few days if you need them shipped. We have 3 of them in stock y0 =P

We also have one of these:

btw, there is also a black ASM rad. panel for their own intake which looks a little bigger. That is also available but will take 2-3 months by ocean freight or 2 weeks or so by express mail from japan.

1) The cooling plate will clear the J's or Mugen intake.

2) The Cusco bar will clear both intakes.

3) J's will work more functional because the duct on the bumper. When you are at speed the air box will be pressurized and you will benefit getting cooler intakes tempuratures and repsonse. Mugen intake's suction is based on sucking air from the duct inside the bumper, it wil not suck in hot air but the box will not be pressurized.
