Default J's now offering Stainless exhausts.

I read on J's website that they are now starting to manufacture stainless steel exhaust systems. This kinda made me think a little in a sense that the reason why I purchased a J's exhaust was because of it's uniqueness for 1) Full titanium and 2) It's unique sound. IMO, now that they have the stainless coming out I just feel like my 60RS is just like 'any other' exhaust. Granted any company has the right to do what they want but I just feel that it takes away from the whole awe of having a J's product.

Tracy Sports is now offering a stainless exhaust as well.

IMO, as long as the quality/functionality is still there, than more power to em! Everyone isn't going to drop $2500 (or more) for titanium, and shaving 40 ibs or so isn't at the top of someones list that is just looking for a sportier sound and a few HP.

I personally don't have a problem with some of these companies filling in the stainless gap as long as they don't sacrafice quality for quantity. Just my 2¢.

I'm really pumped now that they offer them in stainless. I've always like the look and sound of a J's exhaust but never wanted to pay for a titanium one or had the need for one. This lets me get the best of both worlds.

I'm hoping to find a 70rs in stainless in the near future.

The titanium has a different sound than s/s so you car will still sound different. And when the car is on the lift the s/s piping will be gold wile the titanium will be alot more colorfully.

It looked to me like J's raised the list prices of their Ti exhausts when they released the s/s. Now your Ti exhaust is worth more.

If you have the titanium one already than how does there being a Stainless counterpart cheapen yours? Plus the whole "awe of a J's product" comment is laughable. You're acting like the BMW driver who bought the BMW for the Badge Prestige.

1. J's wants to make money too. Not only is stainless steel cheaper for them, it's cheaper for the end user. This will ultimately increase the market for their product and help them turn a larger profit.

2. On a street car stainless steel probably carries durability benefits over titanium. Titanium is known not to like heat cycling. Obviously this could be a problem on a street car that could be daily driven.

3. The company offering a stainless steel exhaust will not affect any of the things you feel make your exhaust unique...Your exhaust is still titanium and still has the same sound. Basically, your feeling makes no sense. It's not like they are going to come to your house, take off your titanium exhaust, and replace it with a stainless steel one.

I'm with sjs, other than baller status, Ti does nothing for me, stainless is easier to maintain or repair and I do like the look of the J's singles (yeah even the limp dick tip).

Looks like the 60RS in stainless is just under 1000 and the 70RS in stainless is just over 1000. Definitely going to be the exhaust I look into picking up.

I've had the J's 70Rs Stainless on order since November and I still haven't received it. Apparently they are having trouble making this and have promised it will be coming in April. I know the 60RS was successful and afew people have them afew of the vendors on here are stocking them as well but as for the 70mm exhaust it's a different story
