J's Racing Exhaust?

I have the Duel RS, stock Cat, and J's header. I don't have a sound clip yet but I actually will have an opportunity to get one this weekend.
As for the sound right now... there is very little "Exhaust Note", but the exhaust and car is now a bit louder. There is quite a bit of resonance in the 2900 - 3800 rpm range. < around town driving range. So that has become a little anoying to be honest. However this is my thought proccess and plan of action.
After hearing an AP1 with J's Header and 70RR, I liked the exhaust note but overall it was way too loud. So I picked up the J's straight pipe in hopes that it would free up that "race" exhaust note and kill the resonance. But after lots of thought... I have decided on another option. I picked up a 17" glasspack that will replace the cat like a straight pipe. So now it will be, Header, glasspack, resonator (J's Duel has resonator). I hope that this will kill my drone and give me that race note, but be quieter than a straightpipe.
My fingers are WAY crossed in hopes that this gives me a good result. I'm having the glasspack installed this Saturday morning, so afterwards I'll take some video. Its not the greatest quality, but it will be something. I'll probably post it to my thread that I started:
