Js Racing Front Lip Spoiler
So I see in the picture

There seems to be a line through the middle of the front bumper. Does this mean a body shop has to cut your bumper or does this simply fit over your oem front bumper?
Many thanks,
Mike

There is cutting required, but just not the kind of cutting that you are asking about. You will need to have the shop cut out the fake brake ducts on the OEM bumper to get the j's lip to fit properly. The lip comes with functional brake ducts, but to make them actually functional, you'd have to cut through your fender liner as well,
. It's just an option, don't feel obligated to do so.

The brake ducting is those little holes on the left and right. The intention is that you can fabricate ducting to attach to them that will duct air back into the wheel well and into the brake rotors. This will help cool your brakes under high speed driving.
Basically those inlets go through the fake brake ducting and it really shouldnt add much cost to the installation. It took me like 5 minutes with a dremel and a cutting disc to get them out when I installed my J's lip

So as an option, no cutting at all is actually required?
One more thing- do you know if the two "holes" that look near/infront of the fake vents actually lead to the fake vents? IE- can I still use my AEM V2 properly?
Much thanks

Well thats not entirely true.
You have to cut *something* no matter what to put it on. You either have to cut out the fake vents so that the "funnel" shaped holes in the lip can extend through them, or you have to cut the snorkel shaped holes to make them shorter so that they don't have to extend through the fake vents.
My thought about which one to cut took the following into account:
1) I wanted to be able to rout the brake ducting properly later which required the funnels to be intact an the fake ducts in the OEM bumper to be removed.
2) The J's lip is more expensive (and requires more of a wait) to get ahold of than an OEM bumper (which can be had for just under 300 on the net) so I always cut the cheaper piece
As for your AEM intake I doubt it would be a problem unless you drove through a river
I think I'm going to be trying to test fit some new body parts on my car this weekend and if I can remember I'll snap a few pics of the inside of my front bumper so you can see what I'm talking about and what needs to be cut.
