Am I missing something here? The ARC is already blue (at least mine is), why would someone torch it?

I do kind of like the glossy finish of the J's though, it is purty

Is the whole knob the same even blue color or is it just blue on top like the Spoon?

Geez, back in the day when I still had my del Sol I paid about $180 for the Integra type R knob. It only goes to 1-5 and R, all in red but it was worth it for that car.

The Spoon knob looks good too, but is it the heavier kind? -(over 400 grams?)-

No, the spoon is lightweight. It isn't countersunk.

I have the blazed ARC knob and i hate it. I no idea before i had ordered it that the threading inside is a cheap plastic insert--it loosens when i shift occasionally, but especially on hot days when the plastic is more pliable. Since i first owned it, the knob has rotated at least 180 degrees more...soon the threading inside will be stripped out.

is the threading in the J's knob actually in the metal?

Like i said before, for me and comparing the 3 we are talking about here, not only in terms of look, but also in quality the ARC for me is in a higher level then the other 2.

Here is a photo of mine:

I got buddy club, it was CHEAP, it feels like a ping pong ball, its light as crap, I took the nut off the shift lever and it sits nicely.
