Default J's Racing Stroker Ki 2.2L AP1

"J's Racing 2.2L stroker kit upgrades the F20C engine to 2200cc displacement. Compression ratio will be raised to 11.8:1. The entire engine kit has been balanced. J's Racing SPL 2.2L ECU or other market tuning device is recommended when implementing this kit. "

Anyone tested it?
The price is low, and correct me, but J's are not cheap, normaly?!

Compere, J's, Toda etc. In class and R&D should give them a fair chans.
It seems that i cant see whats so wrong on this kit, aginst all other 2.2L kits.

A very comfused swede here

first look reminds me of the old stroker kit from spoon for the b16. that was basically an oem honda kit for a b18 placed in a b16 that was balanced.

j's is not really an expensive brand, but i would look at this logically.

here is what is offered by toda:

13001-F20-001-G HONDA F20C 2200cc Capacity Up Kit (87mmx90.7mm) $ 3,400.00
13001-F20-002-G HONDA F20C 2200cc Capacity Up Kit (87.5mmx90.7mm) $ 3,400.00
13001-F20-001-I HONDA F20C 2200cc Capacity Up Kit (87mmx90.7mm) $ 4,300.00
13001-F20-002-I HONDA F20C 2200cc Capacity Up Kit (87.5mmx90.7mm) $ 4,300.00
13001-F20-0T1-I HONDA F20C 2200cc Capacity Up Kit (87mmx90.7mm) $ 4,500.00
13001-F20-0T2-I HONDA F20C 2200cc Capacity Up Kit (87.5mmx90.7mm) $ 4,500.00
13210-F20-001-Ix4 HONDA F20C 2200cc Capacity Up Connecting Rods $ 1,840.00
13001-F20-400-I HONDA F20C 2400cc Capacity Up Kit (87mmx100mm) $ 8,300.00
13001-F20-401-I HONDA F20C 2400cc Capacity Up Kit (87.5mmx100mm) $ 8,300.00
13310-F20-400 HONDA F20C 2400cc Capacity Up Crankshaft $ 5,000.00
13210-F20-400x4 HONDA F20C 2400cc Capacity Up Connecting Rods $ 2,000.00

here is what is offered by tracy sports:
2.2L High Compression Stroker Kit-$5600.00
2.3L High Compression Stroker Kit-$6750.00

i don't see how the j's can fall in at 50% less then the toda if they are all original parts, so i have to assume they are at least majority oem components.

i'll look into it though for more info

I think that J's pistons and rods are made by Honda (I know they are on their race car), which is fine with me b/c they are forged and Honda makes incredibly good engines, including their pistons and rods.

So what do you say, is this bang for the buck?
Or will I be a complete idiot to buy this kit?

So to get a true Toda 2.4L stroker (crankshaft and connecting rods included), you would have to spend $15,300?!
actually i think its only $8300, they just offer the option of buying the crank and rods separately.

tracy sports 2.3L for $6750.00 ftw
