Default J's Racing vs. Mugen

I know the J's racing intake requires you to cut your hood or replace it with an aftermarket hood. Does the Mugen intake also require this on the 06-07?

they both do need the hoods modified in order to fit.

No cutting required with the GruppeM intake:

J's offers a snorkal alone that is thinner than the version offered with the intake kit. The snorkal alone does not require hood modifications for fitment, but does not flow as well as the version that requires cutting the Hood.

Unfortunately I live in Richmond Va.
I was trying to steer away from cutting a brand new hood for an intake, but I have looked around for a while at intakes and it looks like the Mugen and J's Racing are the two best choices.
