j's racing wing installation question?

Default j's racing wing installation question?

anybody can explain me where to install(drill) it, dont wanna screw my trunk lid
am i gonna use the place made for stock spoiler ?
but js has 4 screws on each side , not 2
pics would help me a lot

You have to Drill holes on the tunk to install the wing

I thought J's GT Wing are side mounted

there is 3 type js wing

1 , j's type 1 , as you said side mounted
2 type 2 which i got it , also side mounted
3 js gt wing , this is not side mounted

Your rear-most hole should be about 3.5in from the back edge of the trunk. you want to make sure that its mounted proper for the most amount of angle adjustment on the wing. if you mount it too far rearward, you wonnt get much angle due to the slope of the trunk.

I'll take pics of my holes today for ya, wing was just removed anyway

this is the way I installed my spoiler(Ings+1, same base). open the trunk and look for the the indentation for the oem wing, 1 indentation on each side along the egde of the trunk on each side. drill that out and use that as a starting point for the futhermost(towards the rear) bolt hole. Line the plastic guide against the edge of the trunk and mark the remaining 3 holes on easch side using the plastic base as a guide. hope that helps out.
