J's valve cover install
Just got my J's valve cover in from Bulletproof and gonna install today. Does anyone who has swapped the stock one out for the J'S know if their is a gasket between the valve cover and the head. Or do you just unbolt the old one and then just put the J'S one on.
Unbolt the old one and put the new one on. Im not sure if the J's comes with the black rubber seal, but if not, take it off the OEM one and put it on the J's. Youll know if you dont do it. It will rattle!!!

There is a gasket. A lot of people re-use the one that's on the OEM one.
I'm incredibly anal so I got a new one from Honda, it was only about 20 bucks. You'd want to replace the rectangular gasket and the ones around each coil pack.

I have had it for a couple years now and it did not come with a gasket because the valve cover was/is used. I bought a new gasket and it was like $30 for the set. Not sure if Js actually stocks these because the two that I ordered were made to order. I know things change but just an FYI.
i had to replace the gasket on my old valve cover. oh, and pick up some hondabond! it is your friend. i ended up re installing the valve cover. the dealer never told me but there was oil leaking out of the back of the cover. after the hondabond and new gasket...dry
