ok guys i want to sit lower, alot lower. im about 5'11~240, im not fat more of a husky build, ex football figure. i fit in the stock seats fine but i want to sit lower. i also need to find a seat that fits my figure. many of the brides fit fine for a day at the track, but i do take my car on road trips and dont wanna have to get the jaws of life to get out of it. heres what i look like now in the car....

i wanna look like riley did when he had his lo-max's or whatever they were called.

so, your suggestions?

Sitting TOO low can be very uncomfortable! I'm 5'9 and have my Recaro sitting about 1.5 inches lower than stock. Obviously, once you get a seat you can decide where you want to sit

As far as buckets go, for someone your build I think most of the Sparco's are going to fit well. You could also look into the Recaro Pole Position, but it may be a bit snug. Maybe the Buddy Club XL too. I cant think of any more off the top of my head, but I'm sure some others will chime in.

After pondering it for a second, I think you may find the Recaro Pole Position to be a great match for you. Recaro makes an awesome seat!

The best way of course is to sit in all of them and pick the one that best fits you. Maybe at a track day or a group meet you can hit some people up to sit in their various seats..... thats how I came to purchase my SPG.

I am 6'3" and run the Buddy Club Wide with the Buddy CLub rail. I had it set at the lowest and it was actually too low. Had to raise it a bit. I am about a 34-36 waist and it fits fine.

6'3 32in waist and I did the DIY mod to the stock seats, and LOVE it. Im thinking about doing to to the passenger as well!

FYI this mod does NOT effect the tops of the seats to the roll hoops, meaning if you only lower one side, the seats will still look symmetrical.
