Your vendor don't buy from Mackin. I really already said too much, so much politics just on some japanese parts. I am not here to make fun of you or your vendor but simply want to clarify I was not the guy who couldn't get the wheels since you wouldn't reveal the name.

He buys both direct from japan and Mackin. Even though the special order I made was confirmed through japan, it was going to be received by Mackin in the US.

This vendor has brought this specific wheels before in various colors in much shorter time periods. It just wasnt my luck this time

And please remember, I tried to buy this set from you first. However you told me "in 6 years of experience I can tell you that set in that color cannot be had". Nevertheless I made a search in this forum and found at least 4 member with the set I wanted in various colors. More recently a set in Mag blue also was ordered and received although I am not sure who the vendor was. I was then directed to their web site, and sure enough, the set was offered as a special order.

Anyways, I was offered a set of Bronze CE28 (which they located from Mackin) as substitute, and I took them.

I will be in the market soon for a set of 18 inch wheels and I'll make sure to order them from you.

 

At the time, what you wanted was not available. Thanks to you, I was able to bring in the unavailable later on after some debates with Mackin which I fought very hard for the s2000 community. What you wanted at the time did not go through Mackin, hense the reason they never came. If they went through Mackin, it would of been shot down anyway but would saved you from the agony of waiting for nothing. I am sorry I couldn't fulfill your request at the time but I will in the future if you give me a chance again.
