JIC magic
this is just what i have HEARD,
on honda-tech, there was a member complaining about the exhaust breaking at the welds. NOT sure who's fault it was, whether it was installed incorrectly? or it was just bad welds.
the outcome was an angry JIC customer, as JIC was not standing by their products.

Well my experience with JIC was as such:
I purchased one of their full Ti exhausts and installed it myself (so I know it was done properly) and about a year or so later it just snapped at the weld between the resonator and the rear section of piping. I didn't hit anything, nothing bumped into it, it just snapped on its own one night.
With that said I contacted the vendor I purchased it from and they talked to JIC and JIC had no problem replacing it. The new version they replaced it with had no resonantor. While they said this was to make more power, I suspect that they may have been having problems with the welds on those resonators.
In any event my old exhaust did snap, but JIC stood by it and replaced it for me. As it turns out I didn't want an exhaust even louder than the JIC I had before (which a new one without a resonator would be), so I ended up selling it and stepping up to my Amuse Dual R1.
Just FYI
