i was reading in a thread somewhere that the mugen hardtop came with spacers
i bought mine used and therefore did not have access to the original instructions...i was wondering if someone could post pictures of these spacers and where they went? thanks in advance
When you open your trunk does it hit your Mugen hardtop? If so, I believe there are trunk spacers to prevent this from happening. What they look like, I can't help you there.
They are metallic and triangular in shape with three holes for each of the bolts for spacing the spike brackets that hold the top in place.
You can see part of where these spacers go in this pic which reflects two of the three bolts I mention.
They are visible right behind the seat headrest. You can use two spacers on one side and all three on the driver side, whatever combination you need as you adjust the hardtop onto the car.
